Microsoft Server Senior Consultant

At Riley, we are very excited to announce that we are searching for a Microsoft Server Senior Consultant to join our team, for a hands-on technical role!

The Role

You will be responsible for providing technical assistance, expertise and specialist skills in Microsoft technology.  You will implement, manage and support Riley’s core systems which are provided to our existing and expanding client base.  You will bring either current knowledge or the ability to learn cloud concepts including Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform.

Technical Skills

Required:

• Microsoft platforms with in-depth technical skills in core infrastructure services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, ADFS and Exchange Online (O365)), Failover Clustering, SQL Server.
• Experience with IIS and Web Application architecture
• Scripting Languages (One of PowerShell, Python or Bash)

Desirable:

• Linux systems support experience
• Cloud skills (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Management tools (SCCM, AWS Systems Manager, Chef, Puppet or Ansible)
• Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V, Xen).
• An understanding of DevOps methods and processes.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft, AWS or GCP
